Interested in Becoming a Big Bang Member?

We are always looking for smart, forward-thinking funders who have demonstrated a commitment to poverty solutions.

Criteria

• Dedicate at least $1 million per year to poverty solutions in developing countries

• Fund at least five organizations in common with our group

Time Commitment:

• Annually: Attend our in-person annual meeting (roughly two days)

• Trimester: One half-hour phone call each trimester to update information (new leads, travel, renewed

  grants, hiring requests), which is consolidated in a “Trimester Report” and sent back to the group

• Informal commitment: Everyone should be actively engaged in sharing information with other Big Bang

  members. From time to time, we also conduct conference calls that members can join or lead to learn about a specific topic (ex: impact investing best practices)

Financial Commitment:

• Pay annual membership dues ($2-5k depending on the year)

• Maintain 5 active grants/investments in Big Bang Organizations
