We each support organizations early and continue with them on the path to scale. They’re the best we can find. They often end up getting Skoll Awards, Audacious and Co-Impact Grants, GiveWell Standout status and all that stuff. It’s an honor to support organizations that positively impact many millions of lives.

Actively receiving at least $50,000 (often a lot more) per year by five or more Big Bang Members.

CommitS to Impact at Scale
Grantees include start-ups and scale-ups but all have shown real promise of impact at scale. Later stage organizations have shown proof of impact; early-stage organizations have made a strong case for impact ahead and have mechanisms in place to measure it.
How to BECOME A BIG BANG ORGANIZATION
There is no such thing as a Big Bang grant. Everyone makes their own grants in their own way. So:
Step 1) Develop a high-impact, scalable solution.
Step 2) Do awesome work.
Step 3) Get one of the Big Bang funders to fund you. There’s 20 of us at present, so…
Step 4) Amaze them with your work. Get them to recommend you to other members.
Step 5) Repeat step four.
Once you get funded by 5 or more Big Bang members, you become a Big Bang Grantee.
